WIN a ghd AND a lucky packet

THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED

The folks at ghd are feeling generous, and they're giving me a brand spanking new limited edition glossy ghd styler to give to one of YOU. It's not very hard to win it either. First, feast your eyes on the gorgeous glossiness:

I wouldn't cry if nobody entered... and the ghd folks felt sorry for me and gave me the red one to make me feel better...

How do you enter?

1. To prove that you need a ghd, draw a picture of what your hair looks like if you don't straighten or blowdry it (stick figures are allowed). UPDATE: I'M CLEARLY UNDERESTIMATING YOUR CREATIVITY, SINCE I HAD THREE ENQUIRIES ABOUT DIFFERENT ART MEDIUMS - IN THE FIRST TWO HOURS. YOU MAY PAINT, SCULPTURE, COLLAGE, TAKE A PHOTO - YOU'RE REALLY FREE TO SHOW ME IN ANY WAY YOU PREFER (STILL INCLUDING STICK FIGURES).

2. Take a photo of your artwork, and tweet it together with: This is why I need to win with @ghdsouthafrica and @not_a_poppie on http://notanotherpoppie.blogspot.com/ (If you're as clever as you look, you'll just copy/paste that part). This method will give you two entries.

3. If you don't have a twitter account, you can email your entry to notanotherpoppie@gmail.com. Please ensure that the subject of the email is ghd competition. This method will give you one entry. You may only enter using one of these methods, not both.

Prizes:

1 x limited edition ghd IV gloss styler worth R1750 - winner gets to choose whether they want a red or black one. This prize will be determined by random draw. May the odds be ever in your favour.

1 x beauty lucky packet goes to the most original entry - I'm sending a selection of goodies from my arsenal of beauty products to an impressive entry. No pressure. Minimum value will be R750.

Rules:

Competition is valid from Monday, 4 June to Friday, 15 June 2012 at 3pm.
You must have a South African delivery address to enter.
You may only enter once.
Terms and Conditions apply.

And go.

Review: Estee Lauder Pure Colour Eyeshadow in Cyber Pink

Cyber Pink is not nearly as frightening as it sounds - in fact, it's very close to many of the illuminating/highlighting products I use. The finish is slightly metallic, and it's just pink enough to enliven your eyes - a nice colour to 'wake you up'. I often use it on its own as a everyday shadow, and it also blends well with greys and browns.

Have a look:

Estee Lauder Pure Colour Eyeshadow Single in #02 Cyber Pink

Swatched: Estee Lauder Pure Colour Eyeshadow in #02 Cyber Pink

I've always been a fan of eyeshadow singles - I've too often bought entire quads and ended up using one or two colours.

Available from Estee Lauder counters, R275.
